For domains held at other registrars, we work with our trusted partner, Metaregistrar, when a transfer is needed and possible. Our team coordinates directly with the seller, checks that the domain is under our control, and prepares it for delivery to you.

In most cases, you can receive the domain at your preferred registrar. If a transfer restriction prevents that, we guide you through a suitable alternative, such as receiving it in an account at its current registrar.

Sellers must verify domain ownership before listing on Efty. They must also complete a rigorous Know Your Customer (KYC) identity-verification process before receiving a payout.

Secure Payments and Buyer Protection

Efty Pay uses Mangopay to hold and process purchase funds. Your payment is kept separate from Efty’s operating funds, and Efty receives its commission in a separate wallet.

Efty Pay instructs the seller’s payout once the required checks are complete, or instructs a refund if the seller cannot deliver. The money you pay for your domain is never available to Efty to spend on running the business.
